What if being fully known didn’t mean being rejected?

God already knows the parts of your story you find hardest to share. And He still wants to be with you.

Kevin Smith reminded us Sunday that we can come to God honestly, even with the things we’re ashamed of. We don’t have to have everything figured out before taking that step.

If you’ve been carrying something alone, we hope this encourages you to let someone in. There’s room to be known, loved, and grow here.

Who helped you get to know Jesus?

Maybe it was someone who listened when you had questions. Someone who prayed for you through a hard season. Or a friend who simply said, “Come sit with me.”

In today’s devotional, Andrew finds his brother and brings him to Jesus. He wants someone he loves to meet the One he’s just met. John 1:40–42.

It’s easy to forget how much a simple invitation can mean, especially to someone who’s been wondering whether they’d be welcome.

Take a minute today to thank God for the person who helped you know Him. Then ask Him who you could offer that same kindness to this week.

A good place to start might be, “Want to come with me Sunday?”

Ever feel like you should be further along by now?

Sometimes church becomes the place where we feel pressure to hide the very things we need help with. But the truth is, we never graduate from needing Jesus. We still struggle and we still need grace. And the good news of Jesus, is His grace isn’t running outa me it’s ALWAYS sufficient.

We want Known Church to be a place where we can be honest about where we are and keep learning to follow Jesus together.

When we love somebody, we want to help them. But sometimes helping can turn into feeling like it’s our job to hold everything together. And constantly living under that weight is heavy and tiring.

If that’s you, here’s a refreshing reminder we see in John 1: we can love people, be there for them and point them to Jesus without having all the answers.

John the Baptist didn’t have all the answers but he did well in pointing people to the answer—> Jesus.

John 1:8
“John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light.”
