Regardless of what we want and what we didn’t get, we must always praise Him.

We serve a consistent and faithful God, that’s who He is. Praising God for who He is over what He’s done will help our faith withstand every season. Even if He never does another thing, He’s already worthy of our praise.

Most of us are comfortable calling God powerful. Fewer of us have learned to call Him Dad.

Intimacy with Him was never meant to stop at reverence. The same Spirit that draws us into prayer also draws us close enough to say Abba, Father, not a formal title, but a family term.

That’s the relationship He’s after. Not a God to admire from a distance, but a Father to run to.

This isn’t about earning access. It’s about receiving adoption.

Praying God’s will over our own will is the ultimate act of humility we can display. When we deny ourselves and pray in the spirit, we trade our limited understanding for God’s perfect plan, and take one more step toward becoming the sons and daughters He’s calling us to be.

One is God with you. The other is God through you.

God was never satisfied just walking beside us. He breathed His own breath into Adam, and He’s still after that same closeness with you.

This isn’t about proximity. It’s about intimacy.
