Meet Shanika Ostine, Owner of Jad’Marie Cleaning Services.

🧳 THE BUSINESS: I started Jad’Marie due to being laid off from my corporate job in 2020 because of the pandemic.  My entrepreneurial journey was inspired by women that I knew with successful cleaning companies. In 2021, I  started my company with only $950 and limited equipment.  We offer residential cleaning, commercial service, construction clean-up, high dusting, move in/out cleaning, Covid-19 disinfecting and much more!

✨ WHAT SETS YOU APART:  Providing excellent service while remaining committed to serving the community in which I live.  I’m pleased that over the past five years, my business has continued to grow.

WHAT I ❤️ MOST ABOUT IT:  Giving back. As I’ve become more experienced and knowledgeable of the industry, I have been able to help others start cleaning businesses. Each year, I also choose a few senior citizens to help clean their homes to ensure upkeep.

Meet Ron Sisney Sr., Co-Founder & Assistant Executive Director of My Father’s House Nashville! 👏🏾

From a vision to a powerful community resource, Ron and the My Father’s House team are turning their personal experiences into purpose, restoration, and lasting impact.

🤲🏽 THE NONPROFIT:
My Father’s House Nashville is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2013 to help, equip, educate, and empower fathers and men to see life through a new set of eyes.

The organization provides a structured 6–9 month, TDOC-approved and TN-ARR-certified program with four locations throughout the Greater Nashville area. The program was inspired by the founders’ personal experiences with homelessness, incarceration, substance abuse, and growing up without fathers.

✨ WHAT SETS YOU APART:
My Father’s House meets people EXACTLY where they are. They believe people don’t simply need a second chance—they sometimes need ANOTHER chance to start over.

Through a safe, structured, and disciplined environment, participants receive case management and connections to resources such as recovery action plans, job readiness, budgeting, mental health services, transitional preparation, and more.

“To be of service to God and watch individuals transform into someone they never imagined they could become.”
