United Methodist Association of Communicators (UMAC) They partner closely with United Methodist Communications to bring resources to annual conferences and the local church.

UMAC is the professional association for United Methodist communicators, connectors, public relations pros, news reporters, social media mavens, photographers, digital heroes and collectively the lead storytellers of The United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Association of Communicators (UMAC) is a non-profit organization committed to building community and connection between professionals

in the denomination. Through development meetings and communications systems like SLACK, UMAC fosters collaboration and support of communicators in the areas of social media, print, video, audio, web, PR and communications strategy.

BREAKING NEWS: Four general agencies — United Methodist Communications, Discipleship Ministries, Global Ministries and Higher Education and Ministry — are making plans to become one. Legislation to unify the agencies will be going to General Conference.
