Recently, students from Men of Valor had the opportunity to serve alongside church in Knoxville, Tennessee through community outreach and service.
What makes moments like this powerful isn’t just the work being done, it’s the reminder that restoration doesn’t stop at prison walls. Men who once felt forgotten are now showing up to serve others, strengthen communities, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
We’re grateful for churches and partners who believe in second chances and are willing to stand beside men as they rebuild their lives with purpose.

This isn’t just about growing food. It’s about growing responsibility, consistency, and purpose. The men get hands on, learning how to cultivate something real and watch it produce over time.
From seed to harvest, it’s a daily reminder: what you invest in will grow.

Men of Valor showed up where decisions are made.

Recently at the Cordell Hull Building for “Day on the Hill,” we stood face to face with state leaders to advocate for the men still behind the fence. This wasn’t theory. This was real voices, real stories, real lives.

Some of the men with us had been out of prison less than 24 hours! One day removed from incarceration, and already walking the halls of government, speaking into change. That’s what transformation looks like.

We didn’t just show support for the work, we carried it into the room. Conversations were had. Ground was taken. And the message was clear: restoration is possible, and it’s worth fighting for.
This is why we do what we do.

This week Rudy will introduce everyone to a man that is on the verge of graduating Men of Valor’s year-long discipleship academy in Antioch. Michael Womack has experienced God’s love in a wide variety of ways. Michael’s life is an example of what Men of Valor is all about – a real-life transformation occurring by God’s power reaching a broken man that has finally reached the end of himself and asked God for help. As always, God has been perfectly faithful.



We’re extremely proud of you Michael – God has amazing plans for your future!

Men of Valor staff recently had the opportunity to speak with students at Providence Christian Academy in Murfreesboro. Michael, Landon, and Tevin shared their stories and challenged students on the power of the choices they make.

Afterward, many students came forward to connect, expressing a genuine desire to make an impact for Christ in their generation.

It was a powerful morning, and we’re encouraged by what we see in this next generation. Young men and women ready to live with purpose and lead with conviction.

What happens when someone who’s lived it walks back in?

Recently, Jelly Roll stepped inside Trousdale Turner Correctional Center not just to perform… but to remind men of what’s still possible.

Before the stages. Before the awards. There was a cell. There was a story still being written.

And through Men of Valor, that story started to change.

This wasn’t just music.
It was a message: your past is real, but it’s not final.

Jelly Roll didn’t just bring songs. He brought proof. Proof that transformation is possible. Proof that God meets you right where you are.

This is why we do what we do.

Because the same hope that reached him is reaching men inside every day.

And their stories aren’t over either.
