contemporary and classic traditional styles.

Our vision is to be a neighborhood church where people experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus in a welcoming church family Nolensville First United Methodist Church believes in living out our vision statement as we strive to be “a neighborhood church where people experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus in a welcoming church family.” We believe in community and connection and

that is what drives us to and “BE UNITED”. At NFUMC, we enjoy a multi-generational and diverse church family where children, youth, adults, and seniors worship together in a beloved community and influence each other to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. Consistent with our Wesleyan beliefs, all people are welcome and respect runs deep in our
congregation as we are the Body of Christ. As individuals in any group, we do not always agree on every belief, but our hearts are aligned in our love and pursuit of Jesus together. We are Christ-centered and focus on providing hospitality and welcome to all, experiencing passionate worship, and engaging in intentional faith development, missions, and service bound together by extravagant generosity. If you are looking for a United Methodist Church that loves Jesus and each other
unconditionally, we welcome you to at NFUMC.

Before ascending, Jesus promises His followers that they will not be left alone. The Holy Spirit will come with power—awakening courage, igniting faith, and sending ordinary people into extraordinary ministry. Pentecost is the moment the Church is born, filled with the very presence of God.

This week, we’ll explore how the voice of Jesus still speaks through the Holy Spirit today—calling, empowering, and transforming us to be witnesses of hope in the world.

Before the coming of the Spirit at Pentecost, Jesus prepares His disciples for what lies ahead. Though His departure fills them with uncertainty and grief, Jesus promises that God is not finished with them yet. The Holy Spirit will come—guiding, strengthening, and empowering them for the future.

This week, we’ll reflect on how the voice of Jesus calls us to trust beyond what we can see and reminds us that God’s Spirit is still moving, leading, and breathing new life into the Church today.

On a mountain in Galilee, the risen Jesus gives His followers one final calling: go into the world and make disciples. With both promise and purpose, He sends ordinary people to carry extraordinary good news. This week, we’ll explore how the voice of Jesus still calls us beyond comfort and into lives shaped by mission, courage, and hope.
