🧱 VBS Day 3 was built on a firm foundation!

Today, our VBS kids learned that Jesus is our Cornerstone; the strong foundation we can build our lives upon. Through Bible stories, worship, games, skits, and crafts, they discovered that when we trust Jesus and follow His Word, we can stand strong through every storm.

🏰 VBS Day 2 was a blast!

Our VBS kids learned that Jesus is our Fortress. Through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they discovered that Jesus is always with us and can be trusted no matter what we face.

From Capture the Cow and fortress-building crafts to worship, skits, and Bible adventures, it was a day full of fun, faith, and growing stronger in God’s Word.

Stop expecting a bed of roses. 🌹 Abraham left everything not knowing where he was going. David faced a giant with a few stones. And you think following Jesus was going to be easy? You’re in a Kingdom… and Kingdoms have conflict.

Day 1 of VBS was ROCK solid. 🪨✨

Today, our kids learned one powerful truth: Jesus is my Rock. Through the stories of David & Goliath and Moses, they discovered that Jesus is our Rescuer, Refuge, and Anchor; the One who keeps us standing strong.

From worship and Scripture memory to cow roping and horseshoe showdowns, it was a day full of fun, faith, and growing closer to Jesus.

The math of mercy doesn’t add up and that’s the point 🙌🏼

Today Pastor Lyle walked us through the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18, and the truth landed heavy: we’ve been forgiven a debt we could never repay. Billions, so to speak. Wiped clean. Nailed to the cross.

So why do we keep doing the math on what other people owe us?

Here’s the thing, when we keep score, we’re not building a case for justice. We’re building our own prison. The unforgiving servant ended up exactly where his bitterness took him.
“And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” - Matthew 6:12

The question was never whether you’ve been forgiven. It’s whether you’ll be a forgiver.

Stop doing the math. It’s what we do in the Kingdom.
