with the love of Christ. You can enter our parking lot from either the Sawyer Brown Rd. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

VISITORS
We are located in the West Nashville/Bellevue area, near the 199 exit off of I-40. entrance, or from the Hwy 70/Charlotte Pike entrance. We are located next door to Nashville Christian School. Our address is 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209. Sunday worship starts at 10:00am and Bible classes begin at 9:00am. Service typically ends around 11:15am. Wednesday Night services begin at

6:30pm. Before classes (during the months of August - May), we gather between 5:00 and 6:15 to enjoy a meal and fellowship together. You can arrive at anytime during this time frame. Meals are catered for a minimal cost, $5 a person. Because the meals are catered, if possible we ask that you notify the church office 2 days in advance if you plan to attend. However, we understand that is not always possible. PARKING
Visitor parking is located near the main entrance to the building. You will also find disabled parking in the same general area. The main entrance offers “drive through” drop off accessibility, which is also covered incase of bad weather. CHILDREN
We offer nursery care during the main service. Nursery care is available for children newborn – 3 years of age. For children ages 4 years to 4th grade, KICS (Kids in Christ Service) Worship begins following the music segment of our morning worship service. When you attend services at Western Hills, you may sit between someone with shorts/jeans and a t-shirt and someone with a suit and tie on. We don’t have a dress code, and we welcome everyone to come as they are! WHAT TO EXPECT
We begin promptly at 10:00am with a short welcome and some songs (lyrics to the songs will be displayed on large screens). Coffee is available in the atrium (the main entrance) at any time. If you are running late, please still feel welcome to worship with us! Prior to the sermon, we will sing songs and have communion. After communion, you have the option to have your child participate in KICS, or remain with you during the remainder of the service. After our children dismiss, David Estes will preach a compassionate message from God’s Word. An invitation will be offered. If you would like prayers from the congregation or would like to be baptized, you may come to the front row. Members from the congregation will also join you to comfort you during this time.

It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time to gather at Western Hills!

Tonight is one of our favorite evenings of the year—Camp Rewind. Join us at 6:30 PM in the Teen Room as we celebrate all that God has done through camp this summer.

We'll enjoy:
• Watching the camp video
• Hearing testimonies from campers and counselors
• Sharing memories and laughter together
• Encouraging our youth and giving thanks for a great week of spiritual growth

Please note that there will be no regular classes meeting tonight so that everyone can be part of this special evening.

I hope you'll join us as we relive the memories, celebrate God's blessings, and encourage the next generation of believers.

See you at 6:30!

David

Here are a few things coming up at Western Hills that you won't want to miss!

June 10 – Camp Rewind (6:30 PM)
Join us in the Teen Room as we celebrate all that God did through church camp this year. We'll hear highlights from our campers, watch the camp video, and have an opportunity to encourage our youth ministry. There will be no regular Wednesday evening classes.

June 14 – Western Hills 101 (9:00 AM)
If you're a visitor or new member, we invite you to join us during the Sunday School hour for Western Hills 101. This class is designed to help you learn more about our church, our mission, and opportunities to get involved. David will be leading the class.

June 20 – Men's Breakfast and Bible Study (7:00 AM)
Men of all ages are invited to enjoy breakfast, fellowship, and time together in God's Word. We hope you'll make plans to join us.

June 21 – Father's Day
We look forward to honoring and celebrating the fathers and father figures who have blessed our lives. We hope you'll join us as we worship together and give thanks for these special men.

We hope you'll mark these dates on your calendar and make plans to be with us!

Sunday is almost here, and it's shaping up to be a wonderful day at Western Hills!

9:00 AM – Sunday School
We have classes for all ages.
Auditorium Class: Daryl Demonbreun will be teaching in place of Rob.
Ladies Class: Suzie will be filling in for Deb Rittle, and the study will focus on Luke 15.

10:00 AM – Worship
We'll gather for a special time of fellowship, singing, prayer, Communion, and yes… a little bit of preaching!
Sermon: "What's Love Got to Do With It? – Tough Love" 1 Corinthians 13:6
We'll be exploring how genuine love doesn't celebrate what destroys people, but instead hates what hurts and rejoices in what is true.

Whether you've been here every week or it's been a while, we'd love to have you join us. I hope to see you Sunday!

Good morning...afternoon...evening church family,

May is quickly coming to a close, and Sunday is just a few hours away. We're looking forward to a wonderful day together in worship and fellowship.

At 9:00 AM, we have Bible classes for all ages:
Auditorium Class: Daryl Demonbreun will be teaching in Rob's absence.
Ladies Class: Deb Little will continue her study, The Mountains of God.

At 10:00 AM, we'll gather for our worship service—a special time of fellowship, singing, prayer, communion, and the study of God's Word.

Sunday's Message: Love Hurts
Real love doesn't avoid hurt—it chooses what to do with it. We'll be looking at how God's kind of love responds when relationships become difficult and emotions run deep.
Whether you've been with us every week or it's been a while since you've attended, we'd love to see you tomorrow.

Have a great day, and I'll see y'all in the morning!

Here we are again...Wednesday night Bible Study beginning at 6:30. There are classes for all ages. The auditorium class has been diving into 1 Samuel and we have covered the life of Samuel and the beginning on the reign of King Saul but now we take a turn this evening as we look at 1 Samuel 16.

Over the next several weeks, we are going to begin a new journey together as we study the life of David.

David is one of the most fascinating people in all of Scripture. He was a shepherd, a warrior, a poet, a musician, a fugitive, a king, and most importantly, “a man after God’s own heart.” His story is filled with incredible victories, painful failures, deep friendships, family struggles, courageous faith, and powerful lessons about trusting God.

What makes David’s life so meaningful is that he was not perfect. He experienced fear, disappointment, temptation, grief, and regret—just like we do. Yet through every season of his life, we see the grace of God at work. David’s story reminds us that God can use imperfect people who are willing to seek Him wholeheartedly.

As we walk through these studies together, we will learn:
• How to trust God in seasons of uncertainty
• How to face giants that stand in our way
• How to respond when life feels unfair
• How to deal with failure and find restoration
• What it means to pursue a heart devoted to God
I believe this study will encourage us, challenge us, and draw us closer to the Lord.

I hope you will make plans to join us each week and invite someone to come along with you as we discover the life of David.

Happy Memorial Day weekend, and congratulations to all of our graduates!
This Sunday morning is going to be a great time together.

At 9:00 AM, we have classes for all ages:
The Auditorium Class, taught by Rob, will continue its study on God being slow to anger.
The Ladies Class, led by Deb, will continue their mountain study by looking at the Sermon on the Mount.
The Marriage Class, co-taught by David and Suzie, will wrap up their study by focusing on 1 Corinthians 13:7-8:
“Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

Then at 10:00 AM, we will gather for our worship assembly. The sermon will be titled:
“What’s Love Got To Do With It: Courtesy Call.”
It may be one of the few sermons you’ll ever hear on the subject of rudeness and the importance of showing Christlike courtesy in our everyday lives.

I hope to see y’all tomorrow as we worship God, encourage one another, and enjoy fellowship together.

Good morning WH church family...we might get some rain today but Bible study is definitely in the forecast.

6:30 PM, we’ll have classes for all ages. In the auditorium class, we’ll be studying 1 Samuel 15 — and this chapter is deeper than a Tennessee holler!
We’ll wrestle with some challenging and important questions:
1- How do we understand God commanding Israel to completely destroy a nation?
2 - What does it mean when the text says “God repented”?
3 - How does this connect to the topic of open theism?
4 - What can we learn from Saul’s sin of partial obedience?
5 - Why does Scripture compare rebellion to idolatry?
This is one of the richest and most thought-provoking chapters in 1 Samuel, and it should lead to a great time of Bible study and discussion.
I hope to see everyone tonight at Western Hills!

It has finally arrived! Tonight is our final Wednesday night meal of the school season, and we are going out with a bang!

At 5:00 PM, for just $5, we’ll be serving pork tenderloin with all the sides and desserts you can imagine. Come hungry and enjoy a great meal and fellowship together.

Hello Western Hills family,

Our A-Team, the Kitchen Crew does a fabulous job providing dinners for us during the school year. We want to form a B-team to help us keep having meals this summer before Wednesday night classes.

Meals will still be served from 5:00 - 6:15 on Wednesday nights and will either be home-cooked or catered by some of our favorite local restaurants. The cost will be $5 each week. The only exception is our Annual Church Cookout on July 1 which will be a potluck with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.

Here's what we need: Teams of people who will either set up and serve meals that we bring in from local restaurants OR teams of people who want to prepare, cook and serve a meal. We could also use volunteers to help with clean up after the meals.

David will do the shopping for the meal or place the order at the restaurant and the $5 that is collected will go to the church to reimburse the cost of the food. The dates are listed below.

Please reply to this email or text David 615-587-6282 if you want to be a part of our Summer Meal Team. Let him know the dates you are willing to help, and if you want to cook a meal or serve a meal that has been ordered in.
