We are incredibly grateful to the Nashville Banner for this beautiful and thoughtful article about the Islamic Center of Nashville. 🤍

What happened outside ICN was an act of hate, but this story chose to focus on something far more powerful: the love, solidarity, and sense of community that followed.

Thank you for taking the time to tell the story of ICN—not just in response to this incident, but as a longtime neighbor, community space, and place where people have gathered, learned, celebrated, and worshipped for decades.

We are especially grateful for the voices of our neighbors and friends who reminded us that we are not alone. Their kindness and support mean more than words can express.

This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills, build strong community connections, and earn the rewards of service (Ajar).

ICN delightfully hosted 40 participants on Saturday, individuals who were willing to challenge themselves and learn Islamic geometry patterns, under the guidance of artists from Math Play. We cordially invite you to our Annual General Body Meeting on Sunday, August 30th, at 12pm. This gathering will serve as an opportunity to review the accomplishments of our community projects and outline future initiatives. Representatives from ICN Bellevue Masjid (ICN-BM), ICN 12th South (ICN), and Nashville International Academy (NIA) will be present to discuss these matters. Following Dhuhr, we will provide lunch and an open house for our newly completed Phase 2 project, the gymnasium/community center.
