With the call of the great Apostle Papa Billy Graham home, the elite in heaven are rejoicing over the memorable works of a very good and faithful servant.

Yet the misery here on earth is the great vacuum created in the already labor starved kingdom business. Rare gems are irreplaceable.

But some of us are encouraged not to faint in going out there in the nooks and crannies to do the harvest of souls. The fields are white and time is short for the coming of the Lord.

Papa Billy has won his place to stand tall amongst God's Generals to urge us on unto good works: for whosoever wins souls is wise and shall never forfeit his reward. Hagooo - Happy we go.

Let's Be Careful

There is a saying that we should not throw away the baby together with the dirty water. This wisdom statement is precautionary to forewarn about how to deal with delicate issues especially when discuss issues concerning the church.

The lifestyles of certain ministers have caused people to condemn tithing in a manner which has affected general giving towards missions everywhere. I guess the devil is the winner in this case.

If your faith has been fractured about tithing to the extent you have stopped or reduced your contribution to the church, yet you are still in the church, then shame unto you.

The best teaching aught have been giving more to the church today than the Old Testament era. The difference is, tithes were sent to the storehouse within the sanctuary primarily for the welfare of the priests and the Levites.

But today whatever you give to the church call it any name is used to pay rents, ultilities, salaries, maintenance, church vehicles, missions, humanitarian acts etc. Now it is hard to go on misions for lack of financial support.

Therefore, we do less evangelist activities. For all you know other religions are receiving very heavy supports even from whole nations. These religions are competing and want to overtake Christianity.

We need to wake up: we are all what we have. Let us stop stereotype discussion on ministers because not every minister is corrupt. Giving is essential to promote church growth.

The only hope the world has is the church despite anything. Whether we believe or not God will not do anything today except by the intercession of the church.

I can hear the call of God in my spirit and I can not resist than to yield and honor this heavenly voice. I must do the Lord's bidding whilst I can breathe for there is no better time than now. Am I sitting on the talents invested in me?

Am I wasting time and resources on frivolous living? Why am I not available to honor the Lord's charges? If I don't whom do I expect to? I have the opportunity as long as the sun rises and sets, as long as I have life, as long as the grace of God avails.

How will I answer what I deliberately refuse to do? What answer could I give for not going all the way out to bring in the lost souls of the kingdom of God? The Lord said: "I have many other flock which are not in the barn yet, who will go and bring them in?"

Isaiah said: "here am I send me oh Lord" When I ponder over these questions, I commit to heart to obey the call to go out into the missions fields. I believe there is a reward waiting for me. Would you join, support or at least pray for me? Remember we are in this together: We shall share the same b***y.

The grace of God makes all the differences in peoples' life. Hence if we have experienced it freely, the Lord beckons us to share our experiences freely as we have received.

It takes the sacrifice of a life time to be able to give our time, resources, talents and pleasure to go to the places where the gospel is needed most.

Would you like to join or support my next mission trip to Ghana during next Spring? Call Rev T. K. Mensah on this page or the personal page and let's chat. He that wins souls is wise. Remain blessed.

The devil hates to see the church grow but Jesus our Chief Shepherd has declared emphatically thus: "the gates of hell (death) shall not prevail against it" It means the church is "unkillable" She may be transformed but not stopped.

That's why whenever an old church becomes corrupted like a dying tree, "mushroom" grows out of it, new revival breaks out with a splinter from the old church: the mushroom churches becomes "MUCHROOM" and a new denomination starts.

Those within the church who become tools in the hands of the enemy shall fall on the Rock, the Chief Cornerstone and be scatted into oblivion. The church is the only representation of God on earth and He will do nothing on earth except through the church or except the church has prays.

The Salt of the earth must not loose its saltness though it could be diluted in the same manner that honey shall not loose it sweetness. When the light of the earth is dimmed the whole earth dies in the darkness.

In these days and age the prophecy is: "the people who know their God shall sparkle like stars in the darkness; they shall be strong and do exploits" Hence the church is the only hope of the earth and we must all do well and consciously build it and not destroy it by any any means.

For a while I have been concerned with lack of support for the ministry. My last trip to the mission field was from February to May, 2017. The efforts were curtailed by lack of financial resources especially in the area of transportation since I traveled to the rural areas with very rough roads.

There are a lot of work to be done even as the coming of the Lord draws near. Poverty, diseases, teenage pregnancy, lack of infrastructural development etc are all contributing to people not opening up to the gospel; yet could be exploited to enhance the same.

I am appealing to anybody who can help set a mechanism to take donations to help future mission trip. I would be gone today if support is available. The Lord is coming soon, the fields are white, the harvest is ready and plentiful but the laborers are few.

Today very few talk and engage in real evangelism and discipleship: how can the they call upon the Lord they have not believed in; how could they believe when they have not heard about Him; how could they hear except somebody go tell them.

Then finally how could somebody go without being sent by God and you with your support. Jesus' experience of this is recorded in Luke 8:1 - 3. Some women followed and supported Jesus with their own substance: What about you, my friend. Let's build together.

Just been back from mission to Ghana from March to May. I am grateful for whatever the Lord accomplished with my life, time, talent and resources. To Him be the glory, for ever and ever. But I am also happy for the people whose lives were affected in many positive ways.
One episode still blows my mind: it was not any such things like an overwhelming miracle but how a simple act of kindness made a little orphan girl feel. I sent down some clothing to distribute to the people of the village.
This little girl of about five had a pair of Jeans pants, which though was a little oversized but she cherished it wholeheartedly to the extent that she will never let go or pull out of it. As could be seen in the picture she helped herself by holding tight to it.
Later she kindly with a childlike faith requested: "Papa, would you bring me belt next time you come here?" I promised and bought a belt for her later.
This amazing act brings me joy as well takes me into deep thoughts a simple act of genuine love means to poor needy orphans all over the world. Share the love of Christ gladly.
If you want to know much you can be part of the next mission in September call 6154820970, or write to [email protected].
