r. Melody Traylor started the program as an outgrowth of her experience with Emmaus and the Academy for Spiritual Formation sponsored by The Upper Room. In 2017, The Upper Room became the new home for Discovery Weekend where it has continued to be refined and introduced to a broader spectrum of churches. Now, as the featured ministry of N2Discovery, Inc., Discovery Weekend will continue to evolve. Stephen Bryant, The Upper Room publisher says:
