We had a wonderful Pentecost Service and Celebration this past Sunday. A huge thanks to all the volunteers who helped set up, clean up, tie balloons, prepare food, serve food, paint faces and lead games – what a wonderful way to kick off summer at St. B's!

On Sunday we celebrated our 19 rising 6th graders as they crossed into the youth program surrounded by cheers, popsicles, prayer, and the love of our St. B’s community. ☀️💛

Families and parishioners gathered on the playground as Father Josh offered a special blessing over the students and their journey ahead.

What a joyful way to close out our year of Children’s Formation — and we can’t wait for summer events and gathering together again this fall!

Our youth had our End of the Year Party this past Sunday! They played Donut Bonanza where they answered trivia questions and completed tasks to earn opportunities to break open their team's donut pinata. Congrats to Jay, CJ, Neil, Trane, Hannah and Mazzy for their first place win! Special thanks to Jude Mason, Jill Danford, Gabe Soundara, and Marvis Harrop for helping us make this event happen!

Congratulations to Eliza S. (fifth from the left) who was confirmed at St. Paul's Franklin this weekend!

On the Sunday after Ascension Day, Bishop John made his annual Visit to St Paul's Episcopal Church, Franklin, TN. He was greeted by the rector, the Rev’d Rusty McCown, who presented youth and adults for confirmation at the late morning liturgy. The Bishop preached and celebrated at three services across the morning, and also spoke to the congregation and confirmands between the services. Many thanks to David W. for crafting this magnificent cedar wood cross to replace its decade-old (and symbolically well-nailed) predecessor used during St. B’s Good Friday commemorations. Grateful also to David E. and Tom M. for hoisting it high on the East wall facing the walking path.

All are invited to an afternoon of beautiful choral music – this Sunday, May 3 at 4:00 p.m. The program will feature highlights from a rich year of choral music at St. B's — a wonderful opportunity to hear the choir in a true concert setting as their season draws to a close. A wine and cheese reception in the garden will follow the performance.
