To All Churches of the Cumberland Association
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This letter serves as a warm reminder to all churches of the Cumberland Association regarding our Scholarship Program, which will be held this coming Friday, July 31, at 7:00 p.m. We ask each church, pastor, officer, member, and friend to make a sincere effort to support this worthy occasion.
In this delicate hour of education, it is important that we stand together to encourage, uplift, and support our children. Education remains one of the greatest tools by which young people may prepare themselves for service, leadership, and a brighter future. As a Christian association, we have both the privilege and the responsibility to bring awareness to the importance of education and to support those who desire to pursue higher learning.
Let us therefore put forth a great effort through attendance, encouragement, prayer, and financial support. Your presence and participation will help show our young people that the churches of the Cumberland Association believe in them, care for them, and are willing to invest in their future.
We prayerfully ask each church to announce this program, encourage members to attend, and come prepared to be a blessing. Together, we can strengthen this scholarship effort and continue to promote the value of education among our children and young adults.
