In the Beginning Was The Word

I’m of course not a preacher or minister, but I just want to share my faith. This map of Israel inspired me and reminded me that Israel 🇮🇱 and what Jesus Christ did there was real, an actual physical place in HISTORY!!

Matthew 1:1-17 starts off with the genealogy (lineage/ancestors) of Jesus (in human form). I read it for the first time to as a list of parents, fathers and mothers who raised their children, some in God, some worshipped idols. But in the end, they were all chosen to be a part of Jesus Christ’s family.

Today we can chose to be a part of Jesus’ family and because of Him dying on the Cross, we can be free from all our guilt and our shame and our sins.

If you are a parent, new parent or expecting parent, I pray God’s blessings and mercy over you and your family. Families are not perfect but God has a plan for His children.

I don’t know about anyone else, Satan has been trying to frustrate me like nobody’s business! First, acknowledge that. I pray for a clean heart. Second, return to what the Bible says. God does not want us confused. We have a life that He gives, but we have to let go of our ways and our past way of doing things. “With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused. Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him. They have no sense of shame. They live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity. But that isn’t what you learned about Christ. throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”
