I urge the government of South Sudan to consider releasing these individuals, paving the way for a more peaceful future and preventing further bloodshed in our nation. As we move forward, it's essential to recognise that our country's leadership has the potential to be shaped by visionary individuals.
We have the opportunity to be led by exemplary figures such as
1- The late Dr. John Garang De Mabior,
2- Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon, and
3- President Salva Kiir.
who have all played significant roles in our nation's journey.
Dr. Riek Machar, in particular, deserves the chance to lead our country towards a brighter future, just as his predecessors have done.
Because all of them, during the struggle, knowingly or unknowingly killed South Sudanese people, and I believe we have forgiven them. That’s why they deserve to lead.
أحثّ حكومة جنوب السودان على النظر في إطلاق سراح هؤلاء الأفراد، تمهيدًا لمستقبل أكثر سلامًا ومنعًا لمزيد من إراقة الدماء في بلدنا. وبينما نمضي قدمًا، من الضروري إدراك أن قيادة بلدنا لديها القدرة على أن تُشكّل من قِبل أفراد ذوي رؤية.
لدينا فرصة أن نقودها شخصياتٌ قدوةٌ مثل
1- الراحل الدكتور جون قرنق دي مابيور،
2- الدكتور ريك مشار تيني دورغون،
3- الرئيس سلفا كير.
الذين لعبوا جميعًا أدوارًا بارزة في مسيرة أمتنا.
يستحق الدكتور ريك مشار، على وجه الخصوص، فرصة قيادة بلدنا نحو مستقبلٍ أكثر إشراقًا، تمامًا كما فعل أسلافه.
لأنهم جميعًا، خلال فترة النضال، قتلوا شعب جنوب السودان عن عمد أو بغير عمد، وأعتقد أننا سامحناهم. لهذا السبب يستحقون القيادة.
