Having a mindset that believes in and diligently seeks (Heb. 11:6) to please God by "train[ing] up children in the way they should go" (Proverbs 22:6, NRSV) helps to spread the Gospel more effectively in the long run, since the children of faithful Christians can have a better chance to grow up as Christ grew up: in wisdom and in [stature], and in divine and human favor.

One of the many great results of this camp:
7th Avenue Church of Christ hosted the youth of the Trinity Lane Church of Christ, in November, 2014. Andrew Snow, a camper five years prior, was the speaker. He was either a senior in high school or recent graduate. Pictured here is the dad of Bro. Rhoten, who was an elder there at the time. My cousin, Jerry Sweafford Jr, brought a few young men to visit, and they eventually became campers a few days later.
