Over the last few weeks, we’ve been working to make SylvanParkChurch.org a better reflection of who we are as a church — a neighborhood church following Jesus together.

❤️ Be Part of What God Is Doing Through Awana

Every Wednesday night, dozens of kids walk through our doors ready to play, learn God’s Word, and build relationships that can last a lifetime. But none of it happens without people who are willing to serve.

The truth is, there’s no volunteer opportunity too small. Sometimes the biggest impact comes from simply showing up, learning a child’s name, listening, encouraging, or handing out a snack with a smile.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
🎮 Game Time
🍎 Snacks
📖 Bible Lessons
📝 Scripture Memory
👥 Small Groups
🙌 And wherever an extra set of hands is needed!

Whether you can lead a group or simply be a friendly, consistent presence, there’s a place for you on the team.

For the safety of our children, all volunteers complete a background check before serving—and we’ll take care of the cost.

If you’ve been looking for a way to invest in the next generation, this is it.

Today we said “See You Later” to the church bus that has served us so well over the past 30 years. It will be strange not seeing it at the church and around the neighborhood, but we know it will be used well by its new owner. So many good memories.

We have had several members impacted by the winter storm and we want to help them cover some of the unexpected expenses.
