Sunday marks the beginning of the Season of Creation. We’d love to see you at 10:30am.

This Sunday marks the beginning of the Season of Creation. This will be our second year celebrating this ecumenical season which was initiated by Pope Francis in 2019 and is celebrated all over the world.

The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment together. During the Season of Creation, we join our sisters and brothers in the ecumenical family in prayer and action for our common home.

At Sacrament, we will incorporate themes of God the Creator in our liturgies; we will have intentional times of education and study, and service projects which will focus on sustainability.

The next in our concert series is Saturday September 5th at 7pm. Sacrament is proud to hose “The Heartsick & Proud Tour” with music and poetry by Alex Green, Carl Anderson, Sam Ule, and M. Aaron Schmidt. See you there!

We’d love for you to join us tomorrow for worship. Our friend Mother Deborah Jackson will be preaching.

Mother Deborah wears a lot of hats: Priest, Abbess, Canon to the Ordinary, Pastor, Spiritual Director, Teacher. She is a blessing to many.

We’re calling this Sunday “Welcome Back Sunday!” School is back! College students are back! After service, we will have our Welcome to Sacrament lunch where we will share a bit about the church—our history, connections, and heart (pizza lunch provided). If you are looking to connect or re-connect with a community of faith we’d love to see you!

Almighty God, you have given your only Son to be for us a sacrifice for sin, and also an example of godly life: Give us grace to receive thankfully the fruits of his redeeming work, and to follow daily in the blessed steps of his most holy life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
