It was amazing to participate in the Pride Ecumenical Worship Service. We're so thankful for Alex and the poem he shared.

"If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don't hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. Now introducing The Reverend Rea Green and The Reverend Thornton Muncher! It's so easy to celebrate you both. ❤️

Thornton and Rea knelt in prayer with the Bishop to be commissioned as provisional members preparing for ordained ministry as elders. They each were gifted by Vandy Wesley a copy of Black Liturgies by Cole Arthur Riley, as well as The Book of Common Prayer in braille for Rea.

Our community came together and raised $1,200 for campus outreach next year! We'll be able to make sure our students are welcomed well in August. Thank you so much for your support and presence.
