Trinity Church of the Nazarene- Nashville, TN

Trinity Church of the Nazarene- Nashville, TN God meets us where we are and takes us to a better place. Amen. Our core values as Nazarenes are: We are Christian, We are Holiness, and We are Missional.

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate
was crucified, dead, and buried He descended into hades;
the third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From then

ce He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Church universal, The communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

Due to mix up on who was going to start the live video, we did not record this morning's service.
Today we started a series that includes an activity for each week in preparation for the sermon. If you would like a copy of the activity book please feel free to message Pastor Amanda and she will email it to you.

For this week's activity we drew our favorite animals as main characters in the story of Noah.

Today we celebrate the Ascension of our Lord. In the midst of all the chaos and pain, we wish we could ascend out of this mess and into the arms of the Father. But Jesus sends us out with a mission: to be witnesses to God's infinite love and compassion. The Holy Spirit comes to us with strength and wisdom that as Christ' body we may share Christ' abundant life with all creation.

When I have sinus issues I often get very dizzy. I thought this morning I could power through however half way through our prayer time I realized that wasn't going to work out. I apologize if it scared anyone. I'm fine. It's nothing contagious and I am home resting, taking allergy meds, and drinking lots of water. Hope you all have a blessed Sunday.
