The angels Nakir and Munkar will prop our deceased soul upright in the grave and ask three questions when we die:
1. “Man Rabbuka?” Meaning “Who is your Lord?”
2. “Maa Deenuka?” Meaning “What is your religion?”
3. “Man Nabiyyuka?” Meaning “Who is your prophet?”
Answers will be like this:
1. “Rabbi ya ALLAH” – “My Lord is Allah.”
2. “DEENI Al-ISLAM” – “My Religion, faith is Islam.”
3. “Muhammadun Nabiyyi” – “My Prophet is Muhammad(ﷺ) “.
Brothers and Sisters..
The answer is very simple right?
It may seem easy for that to answer now, but in the grave it all depends on the life you lived in this world.
But, are we able to answer it easily?
When our body lying on the belly of the earth.
When darkness , slamming the fear.
When the body , shivering.
Where nobody can help.
Yes , There is no one who can help us.
Just the good deeds of our life will help.
Astaghfirullahal ‘ Adzim ..
Forgive us Oh ALLAH..
We are only a servant , always do sins and evil
Ya ALLAH …Allow us, forever seek for Your Maghfirah and Mercy ..
Show us the way towards the right path.
Guide us to the straight path .
So that we do not lost …
Aameen Ya Rabbul ‘ Aala’ameen.
*Here is a clear Hadith Narration About it,
Narrated by Al-Bara’ ibn Azib:
We went out with the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) accompanying the bier of a man of the Ansar. When we reached his grave, it was not yet dug. So the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad(ﷺ) sat down and we also sat down around him as if birds were over our heads. He had in his hand a stick with which he was scratching the ground. He then raised his head and said: Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave. He said it twice or thrice.
