Prayers for Peace 🙏

🙏🏾 O God, we are surrounded by the noise and messiness of the world.

Too often, we become overwhelmed by unease, fear, and resignation. And, yet, when we center ourselves in your promises, we are reminded that you are the one we should trust in. Your love is more powerful than the hate and the violence that are so prevalent today.

Help us, in these difficult times, to hold fast to your promises. Strengthen our faith and empower us to be your light and love in this world. May this light and love shine through us, overcoming hatred, mistrust and greed.

May it bring about peace for all.

Prayers to start a new week 🙏

🙏🏾 God,

You are everywhere I walk, in everything I see, and in everything I hear.

When experiencing hatred, You wrap me in Love. When feeling sadness, You are quick to Embrace.

When hearing conflict, You are a silencing Peace. When feeling anxious, You are a breath of fresh Air.

When feeling overwhelmed, You are my Comfort and Strength.

Thank You for always being with me. Help me to shift my attention from the world to You, from chaos to peace, from hatred to love, from me to You. I love You.
