It is Wednesday.
The world calls it hump day, we call it prayer meeting night!
It is mid-week and tonight I will be at church, praying with my brothers and sisters in Christ, getting my batteries recharged, and studying I Peter so I can have a better understanding of God's Word.

Let's start today with some Bible Reading and prayer.

Is this the cry of our hearts?
It ought to be the cry of my heart!
I want my ways to please God!
My ways cannot please God if I do not know how to please Him. I find out how to please Him by reading His Word.

It is hard to keep the precepts of God if we never even read them one time.
Bible reading is as important to the Christian life as knowing the traffic laws is to a person driving a car.

We get our instructions and our directions from the Word of God.
If we are not reading and studying then we do not receive the instructions we need.
Blessed means happy.
Many saved people are unhappy because they avoid God's Word instead of reading it.

Reading God's Word daily is important for the Christian. The world will take us from God. It will tempt us and promise us lies. We must have God's Word in our heart.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. PSALM 119: 11

We hide God's Word in our heart by reading and studying and memorizing it.
