Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Narberth

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Narberth Open to all, Holy Trinity provides an intergenerational community that is built on the word of God and Jesus' love. When we say "all are welcome," we mean it!

Holy Trinity is a Lutheran congregation located in Narberth, PA. We're a group of sinners and saints who believe that God is gracious. We believe that the Good News of Jesus is for *all* people, and that through his death and resurrection, we are forgiven and invited into a new and transformed life of faith, love, and service to others. No matter who you are or where you've been, there is a place

for you in our community. We'd love to have you join us in worship on Sunday mornings at 10:15am, where we also share in communion together. During worship Sunday School is offered for our young people, as well as a staffed nursery. To learn more about our community, visit www.holytrinitynarberth.org.

As we approach Holy Trinity Sunday, here's a funny way to learn about some of the heresies likely committed in attempting to explain the trinity. Enjoy! 😉

Donnell and Connell meet St. Patrick! A funny video created by Lutheran Satire; outlining what the Trinity truly is, and what it isn't.

Today is Pentecost.

O God, on this day you open the hearts of your faithful people by sending into us your Holy Spirit. Direct us by the light of that Spirit, that we may have a right judgment in all things and rejoice at all times in your peace, through Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. —Bread for the Day

We celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. May your hearts burn with you today as experience the fire of the Spirit.

Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry has released a statement on the shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego.

“As the ELCA, we must speak plainly: violence rooted in hatred is sin. We condemn Islamophobia and acknowledge its rise in recent years. Our church affirms that “anti-Muslim hatred is antithetical to our Christian faith” (A Declaration of the ELCA to the Muslim Community), for we are called to love our neighbor in ways that cast out fear (1 John 4:18).”

Today is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. It is a powerful reminder of the urgent need to honor, protect, and stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities. Observed each year on May 5, this day raises awareness about the disproportionate rates of violence faced by Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people. One simple yet meaningful way to show support is to wear red, a color that symbolizes both remembrance and the voices still unheard. By wearing red, sharing information, and engaging in conversations, individuals can
help amplify awareness and advocate for justice, respect, and lasting change.
