Heavenly Father,
We praise You with our hearts and voice.
We praise You for Your great power and love.
Thank You for Your presence with us.
Thank You for Your care for us.
Thank You that You breathe renewal right into our souls.
We set our minds and hearts on You dear Lord, over all…
“The sheep He takes care of in His own pasture”.
Praise be to God from whom all blessings flow.

Soup is on for Thursday Feb. 10. Plan for chicken corn chowder and cornbread. Hearty for a cold winter day. All are welcome. Come for the food and enjoy the fellowship. Bring a friend. Serving from 1:00-3:00.

Meal at the church tomorrow Thursday, 1/27 from 1:00-3:00. Pizza burgers, chips, and bread pudding. From the blessing box will have available Yoplait Yogurt, potatoes, and onions. Those items will be inside due to temps. Everyone is welcome.

It's Thursday and the soup is on. How about loaded potato with a dish of warm apple crisp on the side? Serving from 1:00 to 3:00. In case you are wondering about "Souper Thursdays". This is us. A little church with a big heart sharing a portion of God's generosity with whoever would like a bowl of soup.

"Kids Time" from 3:30 - 5:00. We are talking about creation. Today we are making pinecone bird feeders for take home.

Thanks be to God for His blessings poured out for us. Blessings upon blessings.

Souper Thursday at the church, tomorrow, Thursday January 6. Serving from 1:00 to 3:00. It is going to be cold outside...let's do chili! Come sit stay and enjoy a meal in the company of others. Anyone is welcome. If the basement is not accessible for you give a shout and you will be served upstairs.

Also will have a time for kids and youth ages 6-16 from 3:30-5:00. Meal from 3:30-4:00, study from 4:00-4:45, cleanup from 4:45-5:00. Hope you can be there.

My morning devotion includes hymns. This one, "Day by Day" I found especially moving and am sharing it with you. It was written when the author Karolina Sandell-Berg was only 26. She and her father were traveling on a ship near Sweden. He was tossed overboard when the ship lurched and drowned. She found solace in scripture and began writing poetry. I pray you find meaning and comfort in her words set to music.
