One of our own KonB Diocese of Venice has passed and gone with the Lord.
KonB Venice Original Steve Roser, pictured in the middle when he first joined KonB back in 2017 or so. May he rest in peace.

“Obituary:
Stephen Dale Roser-
Born in Lima, Ohio, a descendant of some of the first families to settle Allen & Auglaize Counties, Ohio, he was the son of Norman and Imogene (Ramga) Roser.
Stephen lived in Wapakoneta, Ohio; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Naples, Florida; and Ave Maria, Florida.
He was a Boy Scout and a 1971 graduate of Shawnee High School, where he won awards for running track. In 1973, he graduated Owens Technical College with a degree in Agri-Business.
Stephen worked at Lima’s SOHIO refinery, the Hancock Soil & Water Conservation District, operated landscape and construction businesses (where he hand-built and designed his own home), and worked in replacement window and door and hurricane shutters sales.
He married Mary Elizabeth Moran, (Lima Central Catholic- Class of 1971) daughter of Wilbur and Marcella (Rawe) Moran in 1975; she preceded him in death due to cancer in 2017.
A man of kind spirit, generosity, and hard work, Steve was family man of Faith. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and Grand Knight with the Knights on Bikes. He loved the great outdoors, especially camping, road trips across the USA, hiking, fly fishing, and American history. He assisted with various charities over the years, was involved in the local leadership of Habitat for Humanity and was a Den Leader for Cub Scouts when he lived in Indiana. In the early 2000's, he was a First Lieutenant and Squadron Commander with Naples Cadet Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, USAF Auxiliary.
A Funeral Mass will be held January 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, Fort Myers, FL. Donations may be made to COR Expeditions, an outreach program that encourages young people to encounter Christ in the wilderness.
He is survived by his only child, Fr. Shawn Roser, a Roman Catholic priest of the Diocese of Venice in Florida; his mother, Imogene; brothers Doug and Phil and their wives; beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, and many church friends.”
