Do all things without grumbling or disputing... Philippians 2:14 Paul isn't afraid to get right down to it to say this. Why? The unity of the gospel. Can you display the difference that the gospel makes in your life by living this out practically? Think about how you can incorporate this and live a life that shines - one separate from this world.

Paul is telling the Philippians to be of one mind. He is also telling us to think of other's interests. Recent trends such as self-care is important but it can also be a selfish enterprise if gone about the wrong way. We have temptations of selfishness and pride even as we change and become sanctified so be sure to check your motives at every juncture.

"... in humility, value others above yourselves" The commandment to love your neighbor as yourself exemplifies this verse. A community of humble people are the ultimate community. It seeks to benefit each other instead of themselves. How can you find somebody to serve and elevate? Somebody to help?

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Philippians 2:3-4 RCC was happy to welcome Vincent Bacote back to the pulpit this Sunday. His sermon titled, Christ and Our Path to Humility, highlighted some difficult questions to ask ourselves.

What difference does doing life together in Christ make? Philippians 1:27 demonstrates that it anchors us in the midst of spiritual battles. "Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel" 💪🏼 Listen as Pastor Sam Kim expounds on what it means to stand firm in one spirit.

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21 These are the marks of a life that honors Jesus: Rejoicing in Christ, relying Christ, and representing Christ. Are you living a life that points people to Jesus?

Dear RCC, running on empty this week?🙏 Pastor Sam shares that in the midst of our struggles, pain, and problems this week, we should focus on the cross for true restoration.🙌Focus on Jesus and the hope that is in Him and Him alone. He will sustain us. Through and through.❤️❤️❤️
