The members of Bethany Lutheran Church Naperville traveled from Naperville to North Carolina over spring break to help restore Trinity Lutheran Church in Tryon, North Carolina. Our team helped to rebuild the crawlspace, sanctuary, offices, and exterior by landscaping, painting, tiling, and more! Special thank you to Floor Coverings International (Downers Grove) for their SUPER generous $5000 donation towards flooring! The members are SO grateful and appreciative. We pray for this sister congregation as they await worshiping in their home church 🙏⛪️.

Our brother in Christ, Adam Russo, died in Christ on Sunday, September 8.

He has come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to a myriad of angels in festal gathering, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are inscribed in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks a better word than that of Abel.
May he rest + in peace.

Adam's funeral will be held at Bethany on Saturday, September 14 at 11:00 AM.

Visitation is this evening, September 12, at Friedrich Jones Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 PM.
