Sisters In Spirit Forest Bathing Experience
Join Sisters in Spirit to experience the restorative practice of Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-yoku. Rather than a hike, this is a slow, mindful journey that invites you to awaken your senses, quiet the mind, and reconnect with the living world. Guided through gentle invitations and moments of stillness, you'll experience the forest as a place of healing, reflection, and renewal. Leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and more deeply connected to yourself, your community, and the rhythms of nature. This walk is designed for all fitness levels and abilities. Led by certified Forest Bathing Guide Leilah Siegel.
Leilah Siegel is a scientist, healer, and health educator dedicated to bridging science and nature. Through education and immersive experiences in the natural world, Leilah helps people cultivate resilience, well-being, and a deeper connection to the earth and themselves. Leilah holds a PhD in Pharmacological Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois Chicago. She is a certified Forest Bathing Guide and Forest Therapy Practitioner from Forest Therapy Hub; she also holds a certificate in Bioregional Herbalism from The Resiliency Institute.
Attendance is limited to 15 attendees. Event will be in the Warrenville area. Further details upon signing up. Please sign up in the Café at Unity or Contact Susan Rittenhouse at 630 638-3834 or [email protected] for information on location.
