We had another fantastic week at Adult & Teen Challenge with the Calvary Church of Naperville mission team. We had perfect weather and an excited team ready to work! This is such a special ministry and we celebrate every step of progress as we move forward. We were able to be part of ATC annual fundraiser banquet too. Hearing the testimonies of how God is changing lives reminds us of why we do what we do! We don't want to have to see any man turned away!
We had 2 special financial gifts given to the project by Thrivent Financial, along with t-shirts for the team. We love the Live Generously theme on the shirts!
We now have 2 finished buildings where staff can live and will continue to complete rooms in the big building until the chapel is done and men are filling the rooms!
We had one of our teams devoted to working at both the ATC thrift stores, sorting clothes and organizing in the warehouse. They put in many hours and did a great job!
As usual, we had amazing meals prepared by our kitchen team. They take great care of us! We get to share meals and work alongside men in the program. We get to know them, hear their testimonies and pray for them. We are so grateful for this time!
