A little extra work from our pastor. If you haven't tried the beer it can be found at the Breaker Brewing Company in Wilkes-Barre. Any support would be greatly appreciated and some of the proceeds come right back to our parish to help take care of the less fortunate.
Father Brian Van Fossen once again brought something a little different to the table for this year's Rectory, Set, Cook! competition - something brewed, not baked.

THE "DISH": Rosa Citrica Hazy IPA
Fr. Brian teamed up with the guys from Breaker Brewing Company to create Rosa Citrica, a hazy IPA infused with rosemary and lemon zest. The result? An easy-drinking IPA with just the right balance of bright citrus and subtle herbal notes—refreshing, smooth, and uniquely crafted for the season.
What makes the collaboration even better is the backstory. Fr. Brian and Mark and Chris from Breaker Brewing go way back—they’re classmates from Bishop Hoban High School. Who would have guessed that three high school buddies would grow up to become a priest and two beer brewers? Talk about vocational variety!
While brewing your own batch of Rosa Citrica at home might be a tall order, you can stop by Breaker Brewing Company in Wilkes-Barre Township during Lent to try one for yourself. Even better, a portion of the beer sales will benefit Fr. Brian’s Rectory, Set, COOK! campaign—so you can raise a glass for a good cause.
