This is Sunday! This is Sunday!
Today God’s Word will be read aloud and taught and the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached and proclaimed by millions of pastors, evangelists, missionaries and teachers. The lost will be saved, sins will be forgiven, backsliders reclaimed, believers entirely sanctified, marriages touched, families restored, bodies healed, hopes realized, and lives encouraged.
This is Sunday! Today powerful prayers will be prayed, tears wept, shouts lifted, hands raised, Satan’s kingdom confronted and the devil reminded that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
This is Sunday! Today I will experience the fresh embrace of grace, greet God’s people, bless little children, hear God’s Word proclaimed, listen to inspiring music, pray heartfelt prayers, give cheerfully, sense God’s Spirit, destroy the devil’s plans, shake hands with angels in disguise and step one day closer to Jesus’ coming back again for me. In fact this could be the day. After all, this is Sunday!
This is Sunday! This is going to be an unforgettable day. I can’t wait to see what God is going to do through me, in me, for me and to me. This is Sunday!
