Hello,

My name is Steve Dantzler; I am a volunteer service specialist with the American Red Cross. I was hoping that I could get your assistance in spreading the word within your organization about some of the volunteer needs we have. The volunteers of the Red Cross help people affected by disasters, like home fires and floods, to support the collection and delivery of lifesaving blood.

We have a need for Disaster Cycle Service volunteers, Blood Donor Ambassadors and Shelter volunteers. The flyer I have attached gives a short description of the positions. I hope that you will place it where visitors can see it. The flyer will inform readers of the volunteer opportunities available and how they can become an American Red Cross volunteer.

You can be the crucial lifeline for people in your community, amid increasing disasters. Help make a difference by: * Supporting disaster emergency shelters near you * Serving meals and providing comfort * Receiving preparedness training & resources * Helping your community engage in its ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies

We are getting ready to lay some flooring in this freshly painted room. We want to thank Folkston Church Of God and Hazlehurst Church of God for their donations that covered the flooring for several of the donated mobile homes. God bless yall!!!

If you have ever worked on a mobile home you know the unexpected challenges that pop
up. 🙈😭

When the volunteers started hooking up the plumbing on this donated home they discovered that it needed to be completely replumbed. This wasn’t in the budget for repairing this home but if this family is going to move out of a camper and into the home it had to be done. 🙈🙈🙈

Thankfully what would normally cost $8000 to complete only cost a little over $1500 thanks to the volunteer labor. What a blessing to this family to get all new plumbing!! 🙌🏻❤️
