Hey everyone,
Most of ya'll know that I'm studying the Cowboy Church movement for school. This movement has exploded over the past two decades and most of us have driven past cowboy churches or seen the kneeling cowboy symbol, yet know relatively little about this growing movement.
I will present some of my findings at W Austin Street's, 5pm, Sunday night service on July 21. While there will probably be some Bible reading, this will primarily be an informational lecture over the movement's history, the "essence" of cowboy churches, and what they contribute to contemporary American Christianity. There will also be a question and answer section at the end.
Please forward this information to anyone you think will be interested, and make sure to tell your respective churches. I hope this will be a very intriguing study for everyone attending. Let me know if there's any questions.
