'OHANA SUNDAY
We had our first 'Ohana Sunday last week. This was an inspiration by Deacon Dave Williams prior to his untimely death that he did not get to see on earth, but I am sure he was smiling in heaven.
These are Sundays focused on Bible learning and activities for the whole family. They will mostly be held in the Activity Hall and will be informal. If you have childcare responsibilities that have been preventing you from joining us for formal Worship Service, bring those Keiki with you!
We have coffee and water, juice and snacks and fellowship along with singing and possibly dancing, Bible learning and activities. We can have Prayer meetings and discussions of pressing questions and issues, and bring your ideas as well.
We are starting at the beginning to build a solid foundation in God's Word. Last week we studied parts of Genesis 1-2, CARING FOR GOD'S WORLD.
DON'T WORRY IF YOU MISSED THE FIRST SESSION-There will always be a review with handout the following 'Ohana Sunday.
Originally, the plan was to have 'Ohana Sunday twice a month on the second and fourth Sundays. However, with the loss of our Deacon we have to be more flexible, as speakers and visiting Pastors assist with our formal Services.
Here is the upcoming schedule for November.
