We are thrilled to welcome violinist Rebecca Racusin () to the fifth anniversary edition of the Arazzo Music Festival! 🎉 She will appear on our inaugural concert at Union Baptist Church in Mystic, “Love, Fire, and Fantasy,” on Saturday, June 20.
Praised for her “sparkling” sound (Washington Classical Review), violinist Rebecca Racusin enjoys a versatile career. She is the founder and president of acclaimed Jackson Hole Chamber Music festival, now in its ninth season. She performs regularly with the New Jersey Symphony and has appeared with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, and San Francisco Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Racusin was a tenured member of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Eclipse Chamber Orchestra, and Maryland Symphony, and was appointed principal player of the GRAMMY-nominated Washington, D.C.–based Inscape Chamber Orchestra in 2012. She has appeared with the 21st Century Consort and Smithsonian Chamber Players, and recently performed as a soloist with the Eclipse Chamber Orchestra and Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra. She has spent nearly a decade with the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra and served on the faculty of the Wintergreen Performing Arts Festival and Academy (2013–2016).
Ms. Racusin received her B.A. from Harvard University while studying with James Buswell at the New England Conservatory, and her M.M. from the University of Maryland, where she held a graduate assistantship under Elisabeth Adkins.
