We had our Pentecost Service a week late but it was worth the wait! Brother Jay’s sermon “Mission Possible” (Acts 2) taught us that God will never give us an assignment to big. He will provide the resources we need, he controls the results, we just need to keep plowing the field!

Camryn Frazier sang a beautiful special and we officially began our membership reception as Myrtle First Church. Today over 30 people either reaffirmed their membership or joined as new members, a great start!

Join us for a special service this Sunday. If you have wondered what Myrtle First Church is all about please come and have all your questions answered! During the Sunday School hour (10-11) we will review the history of our church and our Vision. Reverend Jay Stanley will provide an overview of our theology. During the worship service Miss Camryn Frazier will have a music special and we will have our first ever "Reception into Membership". Just because you are there does not mean you have to join and if you can not be there and want to join, we will begin to make this a regular part of our service. Everyone Welcome!

We are excited to announce the date for the 2nd annual Myrtle Freedom Fest! Once again, Myrtle First Church and Bethlehem Church of New Albany will partner with the Town of Myrtle for an evening of family fun! Community fish fry, live entertainment, children’s activities, fireworks! Hopefully the weather will cooperate better this year! More detail details to follow!

Our time together this morning was special… 3rd Sunday Breakfast cooked by our men, Mike Carter singing 2 specials during worship, & having Bro Jay with us helping us to answer the question “What is this World Coming to?” Our answer should be based on as followers of Jesus, Where are we headed?
