Last night wrapped up the initial round of Basketball FUN(damentals) at Myrtle First Church. We had a great time with all the girls who were involved. Although our head coach.John Byers was away on a business (recruiting) trip, top assistants Anthony Hughes,Bryan Cook, Lisa R Byers and Landry made sure everything ran like a well oiled machine! We hope to do something like this again soon!

Plan to come out for the Town of Myrtle"Trunk or Treat on Church Street", Friday October 30! Plenty of candy and hot dog meals to go (plus other treats!)
Several area churches plan to have trunks there including Old Oak Grove Baptist Church, New Hope Baptist Church, Beulah Baptist Church-Myrtle MS, Temple Baptist, Pine Bluff M.B., Faith Assembly of God Myrtle MS, Bethlehem Church of New Albany and Myrtle First Church. If your church, business or civic club would like to have a "trunk" at the event please call the Myrtle Town Hall at 662.988.2220. Everyone Welcome!

The spirit was strong on Church Street last night for our Street Church service! Thanks to everyone who helped to make the night so special. The music, the message the meal were all fantastic. The fellowship afterwards was even better!

Great weather, great crowd, strong spirit, and only one train came through during the entire service!

Special thanks to Pupuseria el salvador for the wonderful food, Michael Carter, Chadwick Nolan, Susan Harris Gaines, David Gaines and Camryn Frazier for the beautiful music and Brother Bryan Cook for the message!

We will plan to do this again!

Reminder!!!

We are trying something new this Sunday evening - Street Church on Church Street!
Join us as we have our first "Street Church" service in front of the Coffee House just across from Myrtle Town Park. Michael Carter will be there for music and he will be accompanied by Myrtle First singers and musicians including Camryn Frazier, Susan Harris Gaines, David Gaines and Chadwick Nolan. Brother Bryan Cook will have the message and we will have a Food Truck on site. We sill start gathering around 4:45, service begins at 5:00 with food afterwards. It will be a great family evening, very casual, bring a chair and enjoy!

Great start to our Sunday morning with our 3rd Sunday breakfast prepared by the men in our church… delicious food & loving fellowship! Lauren Cissom did our Children’s Time & Erin Flowers sang a beautiful special. Bro Bryan Cook brought the message “Wasted” John 12:1-8. The focus was preparing ourselves for worship… centered on gratitude, sacrifice, focusing on the future. Jesus needs to be the focus of everything we are supposed to do.
