✨ “The secret of always being content is to have your life settled in Jesus Christ.” — Pastor Tom Smith

In a world full of comparison, coveting, and envy — where happiness seems to be declining even as we gain more — the Apostle Paul sat in a prison cell and declared: “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances… I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:11-13)

He had been beaten, shipwrecked, hungry, and abundant — yet his contentment wasn’t tied to his circumstances. It was anchored in Christ alone.

Discontentment shows up when we:
• Compare our lives to others
• Covet what isn’t ours
• Envy those who seem to have more

But true contentment is learned through trials, fueled by a greater goal (sharing the gospel), and rooted in the truth that Christ is enough.

If you’re wrestling with restlessness today, hear this gentle invitation: Repent of comparison and envy, and settle your life fully in Jesus. He is near. He is good. And in Him, your soul finds rest. (Psalm 62:1)
