Church of the Messiah News of the worship, activities, and mission of the Episcopal Church in the City of Myrtle Beach. The People of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah welcome you.

The people of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah believe in offering a generous welcome and we invite you to join us in our mission. We are only a few years old, though our roots go back to 1939, and are the only Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach. Our commitment is to build up a community of faith committed to loving God and sharing that blessing. We gather each Sunday around the Lord’s Table to b

e equipped for service through the sharing of Christ’s body and blood. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive the grace of Holy Communion at the Messiah’s altar. Our Sunday worship at 10 in the morning is at 4219 North Kings Highway. This is the chapel on the lower level and is entered on the north side of the building. The office is on the upper level at 4221-A. Please join us.

Henry Van D**e wrote the lyrics; his inspiration was the Berkshire Mountains. The melody is "Ode to Joy" by Ludwig van Beethoven.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
We will celebrate St. Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day by honoring the companionship animals bring and giving thanks for God’s creation.

On Sunday, October 4 at 3:00 bring your beloved pets (vaccinated and leashed or in carrier) to the lot of our future home (Hartsfield Place, MB 29577) to receive a blessing. If logistics make it challenging to bring your pet, bring a photo.

All are welcome! Invite families, friends and neighbors.
