🏠 WHY DID IMPACT BUY A RETREAT CENTER?

For years, local churches generously opened their buildings to visiting mission teams. But changing insurance requirements, aging facilities, and increasing safety regulations made that more difficult.

Hotels became another option—but rising costs made them unrealistic for many churches.

So after years of praying, renting properties, and searching, IMPACT purchased a property in 2021 and transformed it into a retreat center specifically designed for mission teams and ministry groups.

Today, that decision is helping churches come to Myrtle Beach and serve our community.

The building wasn't the end goal. It was the tool God provided to help make the mission possible. ❤️

Next week, we'll show you what happens inside these walls.

🍪 Sweet treats and even sweeter prayers. ❤️🙏

In teams of 2 & 3, the Erskine College students made their way along Ocean Boulevard, thanking the workers in hotels, stores, and on the streets for their commitment to serving others.

They passed out cookies, offered encouragement, and asked if they could pray. Some cookies were politely declined—but arms were opened for prayer. 🙏

Wonderful moments were shared, and we are so thankful for every opportunity to slow down, connect, and remind someone that they are seen and valued.

Thank You, Lord, for these moments that strengthen us in Your goodness and allow us to see Your love at work. ❤️

💪 Erskine College was a huge help at Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach! ❤️

Laughter, jokes, singing, and a little elbow grease made for a wonderful morning of serving!

Whether they were making dog food bags, moving cases of macaroni & cheese and applesauce, or sorting plastic bags for neighbors who visit the center, this team jumped in wherever they were needed.

A lot of work got done—and a great time was had by all! 🙌

Thank you, Erskine College, for serving with such joy and helping us MAKE AN IMPACT in our community!

🏆 Did someone say SPORTS CAMP?! ⚽🏈🙌

What a blast we had with the kids! From Flag Tag, Soccer, Football, and 4-Square to, of course, plenty of creativity with sidewalk chalk, there was something for everyone! 🎨

But the fun was only the beginning. Our students shared their testimonies, talked with the kids about what Jesus has done and continues to do for us, and built relationships that went far beyond the games.

Lives were touched—both young and old. ❤️

Sometimes it’s the smallest moments that leave the biggest memories in someone’s life. A conversation. A prayer. A high-five. A hug. A smile.

Never underestimate the value of simply showing up and loving someone well. You never know the impact one small moment may have for years to come. 💙

Radiant Church has done it again! ❤️🙌

This weekend, 25 amazing servants of the Lord came to IMPACT and blessed us abundantly! From changing filters and repairing AC/heater units to painting, plumbing, general maintenance, and so much more, these incredible volunteers rolled up their sleeves and went to work!

Their willingness to serve, their generous hearts, and their sacrificial love made such a difference in caring for the IMPACT Retreat Center and helping us prepare for the ministry God has called us to do.

Radiant Church, THANK YOU! We are so grateful for your partnership, your servant hearts, and the way you put your faith into action. You are a beautiful reminder that ministry happens in so many ways—even through a paintbrush, a wrench, or a repaired AC unit! 🔧🎨

We are blessed beyond measure by your love and generosity. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus to IMPACT! ❤️

⛪ WHEN CHURCHES COME TO MYRTLE BEACH, THEY COME ON MISSION.

At IMPACT, we don't just help churches find a place to stay—we help them discover how to make a lasting spiritual impact in Myrtle Beach.

Mission teams serve in neighborhoods, food banks, senior centers, community kitchens, camps, tourist areas, and throughout the Grand Strand.

They serve.
They listen.
They build relationships.
They meet needs.
They share Jesus.

And then they go home changed—often carrying a new understanding of what it means to live on mission every day.

This is why IMPACT exists.

Giving Tuesday is coming, and we're preparing for what God wants to do through the next generation of mission teams. 🌴❤️
