“Laborers Needed” — In the passage of Luke 10:1-12 the Lord gives His instructions to His true followers, the ones that are named apostles. He sends them out as lambs among wolves, and instructs them not to carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road. He is saying that if you follow Him, and He has called you to it, you do not need to worry about money, He will provide; you do not need to worry about what you might need, He will supply whatever needs that arise; you do not need to worry about which direction to go, He will guide your feet. Whatever house you enter your peace will rest on that house, until it’s time to go, then you will feel your peace lift and a stirring to move. Eat and drink whatever is set before you, for a laborer is worthy of their wages. Don’t go from house to house, trying to get from everyone around you, stay planted in the place He has prepared for you. Heal the sick and let them know the Kingdom has come to them!
And if they don’t receive you, shake the dust off, and continue on your mission.
These are His instructions, found in all of the gospels. In these instructions are the greatest lessons I've ever learned in my life. If you follow these guidelines, you will encounter the love of the Father in a way you cannot imagine. Because these instructions are the keys to become "Sons and Daughters" They force a complete and total dependency on God, they require complete trust and absolute obedience.
To let the Father provide your every meal, guide your every footstep, provide every need, and protect you from every danger, that is when you are fully in the Vine, and apart from Him you can do nothing. And once you do this, you realize that you would never want to live any other way.

Faith is a verb.
Faith pleases the Lord, the bible says that without it, you cannot please Him!!
Faith is not a prayer over and over. Faith is an action.
It's like this: I believe God about this situation (house, health, child, marriage) so I'm not going to quit believing until that situation manifests, I don't care how long it takes, how hard it gets, how opposite it looks, I don't care.... I'm going to find that promise in the Word and I'm going to quote it, recite it, sing it, stand on it, plead it, scream it out if I got to. But most of all I'm going to believe and receive it!
When we pray for patience, the Lord will send the most annoying situations into your life, why? To give you chances to learn to be patient.
When we pray for wisdom, He sends us into experiences that cause us to grow and become wise.
But when we pray for faith, He gives us a promise. Then He will put us into a situation that looks like the total opposite of that promise.... then He puts us on a journey to fulfill that promise. While growing our faith in Him. As long as you don't quit or turn back, no matter how hard it gets, you will reach your destination. But guess what, the promise fulfilled isn't the best part... the best part is knowing that you please God. That He is delighted in your faith. That's the prize.
Shalom✌

The Love of Christ.
The love of Christ doesn't show up for monthly out reaches just to post pictures of it's 'good deeds' on social media.
The love of Christ shows up everyday, in the heat, rain, cold... it posts no pictures, maybe just a few testimonies.
It shows dedication and consistency...
It is long suffering and patient.
Showing up everyday with little to no reward whatsoever.

A monthly out reach is enough to feed your ego, but not nearly enough to change the world. Not even close. Actually a lot of the way the modern church operates, actually pushes the world away from Jesus.

Please stay away from false preachers who want you to pay them so they can teach you how to do a monthly outreach..
If you wanna know what the trenches are like, call me I'll teach you for free.

Strategically positioned...

Last winter when the Lord told me to come downtown and rent a room, I really didn't know where to go... but I just knew that I had to come.
So I got my mom to drive me around to check everything out. I think it took two days before we found one that was the right price, but also safe enough that my mom would actually allow me to stay... (there were several that she absolutely refused)
But when we found this place, immediately I had peace. And moved in. It truly was in the perfect location for what the Lord had planned for me to do..
It's in the heart of the city, in the thick of the mess, but it also has this aura of safety, and strategic location.
I can't tell you how many times I've walked outside and at the end of my path, found someone digging in the trashcans for food, and I was able to feed them; or found someone half naked and cold and been able to give them something to put on.
The Lord will place us in the most perfect place to do His perfect will.
Most people might be appalled to walk outside and see someone eating from a trashcan, not me... I get excited because I see another reason why God put me here!!

Look around at where the Lord has placed you today... what opportunities are there waiting just for you?

Acts chapter 3 details an account of a lame man who couldn't walk, who sat outside the temple begging for money...
And I was just thinking of how many of us do this very thing.
Oh sure, you may be able to walk, but how many times do we go to God asking for material things to fix spiritual problems.
This man had no working legs, money was not the answer to his problem.
But so many times we are just like this lame man. We cry out to the Lord for more money instead of legs. We cry out for a spouse instead of more relationship with Him. We cry out for a financial breakthrough when we need a spiritual encounter. We cry out for healing for physical ailments when we need healing for our hearts.
Or, on the other hand, we try to throw money at spiritual problems. For example, the woman with the issue of blood, spent 12 years seeking treatments and spent all she had, and was still sick. What she needed and recieved was an encounter with the living God!!! All of the money and dr.s in the world couldn't stop her sickness, but Jesus did!
Examine your hearts, what are you crying out for today? Is it really the thing that's going to 'fix' you? Or is there something better that we could ask for?
Silver and gold have I none; but what i do have, I give freely!

It's a dangerous thing to compare your walk with the Lord to someone else's walk. It's so easy to look down on someone who's not doing the things you do, as wrong, not enough, or even bad.
We think everyone should be doing what we are doing and walking like we are walking. But the comparison isn't and should never be us to them, but us to Jesus.
First, ask yourself, 'am I walking like Jesus walked? am I preaching what He preached? am I living like He lived? do I have signs and wonders? Do I have authority to cast out demons and heal the sick? Have I laid down my life for the gospel? Have I paid the price?'
If the answer to any of these things is no, then stop in your tracks, and quit looking at what your brother or sister is doing.
When we compare ourselves to our neighbor it's so easy to become self-righteous, but when we compare ourselves to God, we become humbled.
Re-read the words in red today, and compare your life to that!

The Pharisee and the Tax Collector
9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: 10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ 13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

The dead know nothing.

Dying to self is the hardest journey one will ever undertake.
Dying to self requires a constant 'not my will, but Yours be done.'
Ecclesiastes says 'the dead know nothing' .... meaning that the process of dying to self, should leave you in a state of 'knowing nothing'.... for example...
A dead person has no opinion about this world, because the person is dead to this world. (The world isn't changed by your opinions, but by your example)
A dead person has no earthly desires, because they are dead to the earth, and all that is in it.
A dead person doesn't have dreams and goals, because those are for the living. Why does a dead person need a goal?
A dead person dosen't vote, (unless they are buried in California, or Michigan 😆) and dosen't entangle himself with the affairs of this world.
A dead person doesn't get 💉 because what thought does a dead man have on protecting it's own life?
A dead person dosen't live for themselves because.... "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20

If we want to overcome this world, we must die to everything that keeps us attached to it.
Know nothing... become dead, so that you may truly LIVE🕎✝️🕎✝️🕎
