We love welcoming the nations here to Myrtle Beach and helping as they arrive.

Yesterday, we greeted many friends from Colombia 🇨🇴, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, China 🇨🇳, Jamaica 🇯🇲, Ecuador 🇪🇨, Thailand 🇹🇭 to name just a few.

We had an awesome first gathering with around 40 students from 10 different countries - Ecuador 🇪🇨, Dominican Republic 🇩🇴, Jamaica 🇯🇲, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, Phillipines 🇵🇭, and many other countries!!

Loved this special moment after dinner when our friends from Jamaica 🇯🇲 took the microphones and started singing. Such a sweet time and special moment. We are excited for this season and all God has in store. Join us in praying for our Tuesday gatherings, for the students coming, and for this time as we build relationships and share Christ

We have officially kicked off season here in Myrtle Beach and are busy reaching the Nations as they arrive here. It's great seeing students who return every season and meeting new friends.

Please keep the Connect Team in your prayers as we welcome around 3,000 students for the next month and a half and every detail that goes into this happening smoothly. We are praying for an awesome season and for opportunities to share Christ and make Him known among the nations, starting right here in Myrtle Beach 🙌

May is always a bittersweet month as we say, “nos vemos pronto, amigos” ❤️

Alejandra and Allyson were two of my students this season who quickly became like daughters to me. Week after week this spring, we spent time together making memories—some fun, some challenging, but all meaningful.

We truly made the most of our last 24 hours together—church, shopping, packing, dinner, last-minute errands, and even a sleepover at my house.

Moments like these remind me how thankful I am to have so many kids from all around the world 🌎 who feel like my own children. And I’m especially grateful that this isn’t goodbye—just “see you soon,” because I’ll be visiting Ecuador 🇪🇨 before long.

I’m looking forward to continuing to make memories together, building relationships that last, and sharing life rooted in Jesus, faith, and love. 💛

It’s been a full and busy couple of weeks, and I’m so grateful for this time to slow down a bit—spending time with family, catching up, and making memories. Such a gift.

I’m also especially thankful for the partnering churches who come alongside Connect International Student Ministry. It’s been a joy to share what God is doing among the nations and to be reminded that this ministry is bigger than any one person—it’s the Lord moving through His people together. I'm so thankful for each of you and all you do as we share Christ and make Him known.

I didn’t take as many pictures as I should have (so I apologize for the moments I missed capturing), but to everyone I was able to spend time with—thank you. It truly was a special couple of weeks ❤️

Grateful for how the Gospel continues to connect us, encourage us, and send us out.

Last week, I was grateful for a few days to step back and rest—a good reminder that God is the one who sustains this ministry, not me.

I’m so thankful for the entire Connect International Student Ministry team, who continue to faithfully serve no matter where I am. It’s a picture of the body of Christ—each person playing a part, serving with humility, and pointing students to Jesus.

While I was away, a couple from the team stepped in to care for an injured student with compassion, and the rest of the team came alongside them—supporting, encouraging, and helping host a fun gathering that created space for connection, joy, and Gospel-centered community.

Grateful for a team that serves together and lives out the Gospel in both word and action. 🙏

The Connect International Student Ministry team had an awesome day Tuesday with 8 students from Ecuador 🇪🇨 and the Phillipines 🇵🇭 on a day trip to explore Wilmington, NC.

We had such a sweet time exploring all Wilmington has to offer - a ferry ride, aquarium, picnic lunch, battleship, increíble nachos for dinner, and ice cream 🍦 to finish the trip.

We have been blessed with another sweet core group this season, and the see you laters to our amigos de Ecuador 🇪🇨 never get easier as they get ready to leave here soon

Grateful for an awesome weekend that came together unexpectedly with a trip to Orlando for a conference.

It was a blessing to reconnect and spend time with former students from Ecuador 🇪🇨 and Thailand 🇹🇭.

I'm so thankful for the relationships that began in the J1 Work and Travel program as students, and grow into lasting friendships.

A special evening with a supporting church here in Myrtle Beach last night.

It was incredible how God worked every detail out for everything to come together perfectly.

Salome and Allyson sang a beautiful song in Spanish a ca****la and it was beautiful ❤️. They have a beautiful gift, I'm thankful they shared it with us last night.

It has been an awesome day spending time with students from Ecuador 🇪🇨.

We took advantage of an indoor pool, and then pizza, ice cream, and Uno at my house.

It has been a great day with these chicos building relationships and working on our language skills.
