Thursday Encouragement – Present Yourself

God isn't asking for perfection.

He's asking for surrender.

Every day we have an opportunity to place our lives in His hands and say, "Lord, use me however You choose."

📖 "Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." — Romans 12:1

The greatest life you'll ever live is the one fully surrendered to Him.

God’s hand is outstretched toward you. It’s a hand of healing, a hand of provision, a hand of favor. What He has purposed for your life is right on schedule. You didn’t miss it. Mistakes didn’t cancel it. Bad breaks didn’t override it. Trouble didn’t stop it. The trouble positioned you. Everything is serving God’s plan. Now, quit trying to figure it out, believing those lies that you must be off track, you must have done something wrong. God is ordering your steps. His calling on your life has not changed. The route may not be what you expected, but you’re still going to get to the destination He has for you. Can I tell you: it’s going to be better than you imagined, bigger than you dreamed, more rewarding than you thought possible!!!!

Wednesday Encouragement – Not My Will

One of the most powerful prayers a believer can pray is:

"Father, not my will, but Yours be done."

That prayer requires trust.

It requires surrender.

It requires believing that God's plan is better than our own.

God isn't just looking for availability.

He's looking for willingness and obedience.

It's one thing to know what God wants.
It's another thing to actually do it.

The blessing isn't found in good intentions.

The blessing is found in obedience.

Monday Encouragement – Nevertheless

Sometimes faith doesn't say, "I understand."

Faith says, "Nevertheless, at Your Word."

Peter had fished all night and caught nothing. Everything in his experience told him not to try again. But one word from Jesus changed everything.

📖 "Nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net." — Luke 5:5

Your breakthrough may be waiting on the other side of your obedience.

What a powerful Father's Day celebration we experienced at The Bridge at Christ Church! 🙌👔🔥

From the very first moments of worship, God's presence filled the room as we honored our Heavenly Father and celebrated the fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, and godly men who have made a lasting impact on our lives.

The worship team led us into a beautiful atmosphere of gratitude and surrender as we declared, "All I need is You." What a reminder that no matter what season we are facing, God remains faithful, present, and more than enough for every need.

Pastor Dave continued teaching on prayer, specifically the Prayer of Consecration—the prayer that says:

"Father, not my will, but Yours be done."

Drawing from Luke 5, we were reminded of Simon Peter's response when Jesus told him to launch out into the deep after fishing unsuccessfully all night:

"Nevertheless, at Thy word..."

What a powerful lesson for every believer.

Sometimes God asks us to trust Him when it doesn't make sense.
Sometimes He asks us to step out when we've already tried.
Sometimes He asks us to obey before we see the outcome.

The blessing wasn't in Peter's experience.
The blessing was in his obedience.

Pastor Dave Howell challenged us to consider what happens when we truly pray:

➡️ "Lord, whatever You want me to do, I'll do it."
➡️ "Wherever You want me to go, I'll go."
➡️ "Whatever Your plan is, I trust You."

That kind of surrender can change the course of a life, a family, a business, a ministry, and even generations to come.

One of the most powerful reminders from the message was that God's plans often require both willingness and obedience.

📖 "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." — Isaiah 1:19

It's not enough to simply know what God is saying.
It's not enough to simply want His blessing.

We must be willing to trust Him and obedient enough to follow Him.

As we begin a new week, may our prayer be: "Nevertheless, at Your Word."

Even when it doesn't make sense.
Even when we've tried before.
Even when the outcome is uncertain.

Because God sees what we cannot see, knows what we cannot know, and is always working for our good.
