On Sunday, Pastor Holly reminded us that the Holy Spirit forms a people devoted to God and one another—and invites us to imagine what God might do through us.

In Acts 2 and 4, we see that devotion lived out through unity, generosity, and care for one another.

Live it out this week:
• How might the Holy Spirit be changing you to become more like Jesus?
• What is one way you can grow in your devotion to God and His people this week?
• How can the way we love and care for one another at Connection Point help others experience Jesus and connect with His Kingdom?

Take some time to pray through these questions, then choose one step to put into practice.

Connection Point, let’s live it out this week!

In John 14 and John 16, Jesus promises the Holy Spirit—our Advocate, who teaches us, reminds us of Jesus’ words, and guides us into truth. We are not left to follow Jesus on our own!

Take some time this week to read John 14 and John 16, then reflect:

• How did this week’s teaching expand or challenge your understanding of the Holy Spirit’s role in your life?
• How could what you learned shape the way you live today?
• What is one practical way you can respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading this week?

Pause and pray: “Holy Spirit, help me recognize your leading and respond with obedience today.”

In The Time Is Now, we explored what it means to recognize God’s activity and respond—to behold his mercy, surrender our lives, and allow him to transform us.
In Are & Becoming, we named who we are and who God is forming us to become: children of God conforming to the likeness of Jesus. We connected that identity to our mission, vision, and values as Connection Point.

Now we turn to Acts, where we encounter the ongoing work of Jesus through his church, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Acts invites us into a story that shapes our theological imagination—our ability to see our lives and our world in light of what God is doing. As we watch believers pray, share their lives, cross boundaries, face opposition, and follow the Spirit, we begin to imagine what faithfulness could look like in our own community.
We will pay attention to what these events reveal about Jesus, the Spirit, and the people God is forming. And we will ask: How might this same Jesus be calling us to participate in his work today?

Join us this Sunday as we dive into the first week on the book of Acts.
