We’re back at Venture tomorrow, and we’re excited to celebrate baptisms!

Our morning service will be at Venture as normal at 10 AM. We’ll have a slightly shorter service, and afterward, we’ll head to Muskegon State Park for baptisms at the beach!

Due to the thunderstorms, rain, and beach hazards, we’re going to reschedule today’s baptisms and gather together for a combined service with Venture Church, The Journey Church, and Restore Church! 🙌

🏖️ BAPTISMS AT THE BEACH — TOMORROW! 🌊

There will be NO service at Venture Church tomorrow. Instead, we’re gathering at the beach at 10:00 AM to celebrate baptisms with Venture, Journey, and Restore!

We have quite a few people from Venture taking this meaningful step, and we’d love for you to come celebrate, worship, and cheer them on! 🙌

📍 Maranatha Conference Center

Norton Shores, MI 49441

We’ll walk down to the beach once you arrive. Bring a bag chair, beach chair, or blanket to sit on! A golf cart will also be available for anyone who needs a little extra help getting down to the beach.

Venture Students, we’re kicking off the school year with an afternoon of sun, water, games, food, and FUN! 🙌

Just a reminder that there will be no service at Venture Church tomorrow morning because we’ll be worshipping together at Venture Camp!

We’re already having such a great time at camp, and we would love for you to come and join us! If you’d like to make the drive up, we’ll be having church at 9:30 AM in the chapel.

Baptism is a beautiful way to publicly celebrate the new life we have in Jesus. If you’ve made the decision to follow Christ and are ready to take this next step, we would love to celebrate with you!

Join us on Sunday, August 30 @ 10AM at Maranatha as we gather with Restore Church and The Journey Church for a special beach baptism service.

Before being baptized, everyone attends one Baptism Class. We have three options:

Here’s what’s coming up over the next few weeks:

🍕 This Sunday, July 26 – Stick around after service for Pizza & Ice Cream! We’d love for you to stay, enjoy some food, and spend some extra time together as a church family.

🏕️ August 16 – No service at Venture. We’ll be worshipping together at Venture Camp!

👋 August 23 – Join us as we welcome Braden back from his sabbatical and celebrate all that God has been doing this summer.

🌊 August 30 – Baptisms at the Beach with Restore Church and The Journey Church at Maranatha.

We can’t wait to spend the summer together! ❤️

Today, Michael continued our series, Resilient Faith. As we looked to Psalm 1 for ways to live like Jesus, Michael also provided 3 helpful ways to build a resilient faith. First is to be purposeful in our time in scripture. Next is to recognize and repent of the wickedness in us. Finally, work toward being a source of refreshment for others.
