Today, Braden continued the series,The Small Things by taking a deep dive into Matthew 5:13-16, which contains a part of the Sermon on the Mount.
God uses ordinary people to make His kingdom visible. Think for a moment about salt...it is an ordinary, every day element that no one thinks much about but it is something that we use every day to make food taste good and also serves as a preservative to keep food from spoiling.
God isn't asking you to change the world by doing giant miracles or achieving great accomplishments. Rather, He's asking you to do the small consistent things that encourage and point others to Jesus. God looks at the ways we preserve, flavor, and light up the world around us, so be salty! ❤️
