Have you checked in on someone lately? A simple phone call can mean more than you know! ❤️

God calls us to love, encourage, and care for one another. Sometimes being the hands and feet of Jesus is as simple as picking up the phone and saying, “I was thinking about you. How are you doing?”

📖 “Encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Today, make a call to someone who may need a little encouragement, a friendly voice, or a reminder that they are loved.

And remember… God is always on the line. 🙏📞
You never have to worry about reaching Him. Talk to Him anytime, anywhere, through prayer. ❤️

Today we celebrate Labor Day and give thanks for the work God has placed before us—whether we work in a workplace, care for our families, serve our community, or simply lend a helping hand to someone in need. ❤️

Every act of service matters. Every helping hand can make a difference. And every day is an opportunity to reflect God’s love through what we do.

🌿 What a Beautiful Sunday at Wolf Lake Methodist Church! 🌿

Thank you to everyone who joined us today for worship and Holy Communion. ❤️ It was a blessing to gather together, share in fellowship, and be reminded of God’s amazing grace.

Today, Pastor Dave continued our “Flourish & Thrive” series with the message “Vocation.” We were encouraged to consider how God is calling each of us to use our gifts, talents, and lives to serve Him and make a difference in the world around us.

🙏 May we leave today renewed, encouraged, and ready to flourish and thrive wherever God has planted us!

Today, on International Day of Charity, we’re reminded that charity isn’t just about what we give—it’s about how we love and serve others.

At Wolf Lake Methodist Church, we believe God calls us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Whether it’s through REAP Pantry, Mary’s Closet, WE CARE Ministry, helping a neighbor, sharing a meal, giving our time, or simply offering a listening ear—every act of kindness matters. 🙏

🌟 You may think you don’t have much to give, but God can use even the smallest act of love to make a big difference in someone’s life.

Celebrating Mary’s Closet
today we want to take a moment to honor the amazing hard work, dedication, and servant hearts behind Mary's Closet. What has started as a way to help our neighbors has become such an important ministry in our community.
In July alone, Mary's Closet served more than 60 people! This ministry continues to meet real needs, offering clothing and support to individuals and families who need a helping hand.
August was spent collecting school supplies and was very successful. We thank each one of you for generous donations to provide school supplies for children in our local area.
As we go into Fall, we are asking for donations: Winter Clothing is needed, coats, jackets, hats mittens, boots… we would love to be able to keep our neighbors warm while coming into colder weather.
We are blessed to be able to to continue to serve our community.
Mary's Closet in open the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am-12pm.

Let's be a blessing to others through of kindness, compassion, and love this week.
