On June 21 the GA session will be concluded with a Community Sing and a Worship Service that we will be sharing in our sanctuary.

About General Assembly
General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association offers a unique opportunity for UU’s. Attendees from congregations in remote small towns, as well as large metropolitan cities, join together in an exchange of ideas, in worship, and in song. This year, General Assembly is specifically designed to be experienced virtually so all may participate. On June 21 the GA session will be concluded with a Community Sing and a Worship Service that we will be sharing in our sanctuary.

We are also encouraging a “Finger Food” potluck that can be enjoyed either during or following the service.

At 10:30 begin by lifting your voice in song with fellow Unitarian Universalists. This joyful gathering invites all participants to join in beloved hymns and spirited music that connect us across distance and difference. No experience is needed, just bring your voice and your heart.

Sunday morning worship is the heart of General Assembly, drawing our entire community together in shared spirit. Through music, preaching, and ritual, we will ground ourselves in our Unitarian Universalist faith and be renewed for the work of justice, compassion, and community in the world.

Truth, two things can be right at the same time!

UUs are very good at holding complexity.

We can affirm many ways to move through the world, connect to the sacred, or sing a beloved hymn… and still hold firm to the precise dishwasher loading diagram everyone should follow when using the congregation’s kitchen. 😄

That’s the beauty of our shared UU community life: we may not have perfect agreement, but we can be our best imperfect selves practicing how to live together with care, intention, and respect for one another.
