We might not be getting into all the theology of the Trinity on Sunday (it is Trinity Sunday after all), so let me share this incredibly helpful video that explains the Trinity in a modern way.

And yes, I'm joking ;-)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that one of our beloved members, Howard Sheriff, died on Saturday, May 9. While we will miss his presence on this earth, we do not grieve as those without hope as we trust that Howard was - and is - held by his loving savior, Jesus Christ.

Both the visitation and funeral service will be held at Sytsema Funeral Home's Lee Chapel - 291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444

The visitation will be on Wednesday, May 13, from 6-8PM
The funeral service will be on Thursday, May 14, at 11 AM

There will be a luncheon following the funeral service at the Fruitport Eagles Club - 3354 S Dangl Rd

Please keep the Sheriff family in your prayers during this time.

Join us TOMORROW (4/3/2026) at Noon for our Good Friday Service, done jointly with Lake Harbor UMC, Temple UMC, Community UMC, Crestwood UMC, Central UMC, and John Wesley AME Zion. The service will be held at Covenant Community Church (134 E Barney Ave, Muskegon Heights, MI 49444), and will also be livestreamed/recorded to our Facebook & YouTube accounts.

Yes, we are STILL under construction!

What usually happens in construction projects - more issues are found, more construction needed - has happened with this construction project. Please remain patient as we continue worshipping in the Fellowship Hall, unable to livestream until further notice. Or, come and worship with us in the Fellowship Hall, where the coffee is flowing and the services are looking a little different.... ;-)

Our Sanctuary is getting re-plastered!

Weather permitting (woof... what's going on with all this fluffy white stuff falling forcefully from the sky?), the repairpeople will start the project to fix our walls and ceiling on January 26. The project is set to take ~2 weeks, which means we will definitely be worshipping in the Fellowship Hall on Feb. 1, and most likely worshipping there again on Feb. 8.

Unfortunately, because of sound/technical difficulties, there will be NO LIVE-STREAM on those days. We'll keep you updated on how things are going (hopefully with some pictures!), and invite you to join us in person for these services. (Reminder, Feb 1 is a Shared Meal Sunday, and we're changing up the worship service to go along with that! Pastor Lisa is excited!)
