Solid Rock Church Muskegon Solid Rock was founded by Bishop Willie F. Steward who later transferred the pastorate to Elder Wendell Bailey. Solid Rock Church located at 310 E.

Both have since passed but we continue to honor their memory, service, and legacy of kindness and compassion to all, especially people of God. Hackley in Muskegon Heights, Michigan was founded by Bishop Willie F. Both have since passed but left legacies founded on kindness and compassion. Solid Rock has been preserved by God primarily as a house of worship in addition to a place where his people are edified, fortified, and transformed by and through His word. We believe that all scripture is God-breathed and purposeful for coming into the knowledge of who God is and for sanctification. We believe that as followers of Christ, we are both salt and light and that the highest honor and title of any believer is that of Servant of God. Our mission is to glorify God and to represent Him in the earth by uplifting all we encounter, especially the poor, under-served, and those considered “the least of these” among us. Grace Ellis currently serves as Church Administrator.
