Did you know that the sweet treat we all love played an important role in The Salvation Army’s history? began with the bravery of Salvation Army volunteers during WWI. These “Donut Lassies” were on the front lines, providing supplies, spiritual comfort and, of course, donuts. 🍩

This past year with our Troops has been a such a wonderful time together. They had worked so diligently to accomplish their badges that to celebrate it, we went to watch a movie together. The kids had fun!

What an amazing time we had last weekend. The Salvation Army Corps inland empire combined together had a women retreat in Hemet Corps. Each lady gets blessed with the messages, workshops, fellowship, grab bags, yummy food, and praying together.

What a great day to spent Tuesday afternoon with the kids during our Troops program.

We had variety activities after dinner such as games, sing songs and also short presentation about the history of The Salvation Army that founded in 1865 by William and Catherine Booth.

After that each kids went to their classes and they learned something to earn badges.

Our youth program is scheduled to finish at the end of the month. We will start again on August 18.
